This threading of haiku (and a senryu or two) was written for participation in Ronovan Writes’ Haiku Challenge #246, based on the words ‘Narrow’ and ‘Minded’ (which I replaced with ‘inclined’). Don’t go forgetting the potential horizontal reads!

    • Thank you! I’m glad that you noted the shifts; I’ve been trying to lay themes or patterns into these, but they haven’t effectively carried through. The deer around here make quick work of our hibiscus and sometimes roam the street, picking through everyone’s yards.
